Faith Mustango-09′ Granite Range HMA Mustang Mare

Faith is an old soul, she has a wisdom and maturity about her that does not match her age. According to her paperwork, she is 6, but according to her baby teeth, she just turned 5. She was Dave’s draw for the 2013 Norco Extreme Mustang Makeover. This mare was easy to gentle and start, would have been wonderful to compete on, but she has crooked front legs. Also, was just too young on those legs for that much riding in such a short time, she turned out to be 3. We chose not to compete and have brought her along slowly since. The alternative being to return her to Holding Pens at the BLM. Faith has never been lame, has great feet and no real need for corrective shoeing, she is just the way she is. I am sure she will develop problems down the road, however she is happy, comfortable, loves trail rides and has many good years on her to go.

This mare has an exceptional mind, uses herself very well, is sure footed and careful on the trail. She likes to go at an easy pace, but still has lots of power. She is maturing to about 15.1 hands and is a very solid build. she is ready for a home with someone that likes long, easy trail rides. Faith should last many good years the way she travels on her own, which is about the speed most people want to ride. Her demeanor is calm, she takes most everything in stride, loves attention and grooming. She has no vices and would be a high dollar horse if not her her legs! Part of the donated funds will be going to a few x-rays for educational purposes as to how much her joints are compromised. We are asking an adoption fee and that she be returned to us or retired when done on the trails. This we feel is a good solution, you can confidently take her and enjoy her, but not have to worry about being stuck with her if there are any issues down the road. We do take care of and stick behind the horses in our From Start to Foundation family! $1000 to approved home.
